Real ale?
Oct 15 2007, 10:41 AM EDT What about beer? M19 and the Bluebell do not sell real ale, infact, apart from the sidings, you'll be pushed to find a decent pint in levenshulme. Can we not ask the publicans to sell real ale in an aid to reinvigorate the night life in levenshulme? as Samuel Taylor Coleridge once wrote: water water everywhere but not a drop to drink. 10 out of 12 found this valuable. Do you? |

Nov 1 2007, 3:36 PM EDT thank goodness someone has mentioned this - i'm sure all the sports and 'irish' pubs are great if that is what you want but a pub that served real ale and didn't fill every minute with big screen sport at 100db and/or 'pop' music blaring out would be a godsend and would enable me to go a pub where i live rather than in town or chorlton or didsbury... Do you find this valuable? |
